USDA Organic

USDA Organic certification verifies that a product meets strict U.S. standards for how it is grown, processed, handled, and labeled. It prohibits synthetic pesticides, GMOs, irradiation, and sewage sludge, and requires documented traceability at every stage. Certification is granted only after a detailed Organic System Plan, independent inspections by a USDA-accredited certifier, and a full compliance review, with annual renewals and ongoing oversight. Imported products must meet the same standards as U.S.-grown goods. Like the EU BIO and GR-BIO systems, USDA Organic is a regulated, audited framework that ensures organic integrity through verified practices, inspections, and documentation - not marketing claims.

eu organic / bio

The EU Organic (EU/BIO) logo identifies products that meet the European Union’s strict organic farming standards. It confirms that ingredients are grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers, are non-GMO, and are produced in accordance with regulations that emphasize soil health, biodiversity, and sustainable farming practices.
GR-BIO-03/GR-BIO-14 is the identification code of the accredited organic control body responsible for inspecting and certifying the product under the EU Organic (EU/BIO) regulation in Greece. The “GR” indicates Greece, while “BIO-03” identifies the specific certification authority (BIO-03: BIOHELLAS S.A., BIO-14: OXYGONO-Hellenic Certification Body) that audits compliance with EU organic standards

glass bottle

We choose opaque glass over plastic intentionally. Olive oil is naturally acidic and can interact with plastic over time, increasing the risk of chemical and micro-/nano-plastic leaching. Opaque glass is inert and non-reactive, while also shielding the oil from sunlight and oxidation, helping preserve its flavor, aroma, and freshness. Just as important, the bottle is designed to be beautiful on any countertop and worthy of gifting - protecting what’s inside while looking right at home outside.

lab testing

We believe transparency means more than claims - it means proof. That’s why our products are laboratory tested to verify purity, composition, and overall quality. We make these independent lab analyses available on our website, so you can see exactly what’s been tested and make informed decisions with confidence. Nothing hidden, nothing assumed - just documented standards you can review for yourself.
