A note from the founder

Don't take my word for it. Read the lab report.

I sell olive oil. Of course I'll tell you it's good. That is exactly why the number has to come from a lab, not from me.

643.7mg/kg total polyphenols
0.20%acidity

Why I publish it

Most bottles say "premium." Few show the numbers.

Buying olive oil usually means guessing. A pretty bottle, "extra virgin," a picture of a grove. None of that tells you what is inside.

So I sent our EVOO Centenarian to an independent lab, Chem Solutions in Athens. They measured total polyphenols, the compounds behind fresh olive oil's peppery, bitter bite, at 643.7 mg/kg. The full certificate is published, original Greek included.

Read it. Then decide.

Check the rest too

Every code on the label can be looked up.

The lab report is one piece. The label carries the rest: who grew the olives, where the oil was bottled, who certifies it organic, and the PDO Messara certificate. The olives are grown and pressed on the Messara plain; the oil is bottled 8 km away at a certified organic bottling facility.

  • GR13866 — the farm's organic code
  • EL40090 — the bottling facility
  • POC/5035-16835.25 — the PDO Messara certificate
  • GR-BIO-03 — the organic control body, BIOHELLAS

Where it comes from

Trees older than a century.

The olives grow on trees over 100 years old on the Messara plain in Crete. 100% Koroneiki. Grown, harvested and pressed by Sifis Sklavakis, the fourth generation of his family to farm olives there.

Every code on the label can be looked up: the farm, the bottling facility, the PDO certificate, the organic control body.
